For a while, I owned an early Jelly Watches
from 1912—it ended up in the Patek Museum and in their book on
wristwatches.These were the market leaders. Cartier was actually pretty
important in the development of the wristwatch. Tiffany was a large
retailer but was much less important as an innovator.
